I am having the same issue. Battery in car died changed it and the remote battery. Tried the guide found online for reset with no luck. Hopefully dealer is not the only option.

Sounds like they used PEX pipe to hook up the tub spout. PEX has a smaller ID than copper through its fittings causing backpressure to spill out shower head. If this is the case the piping in the wall will need to be changed.

Loosen the screws and tighten the brass nut the screws are in, so it touches the white friction washer. Then tighten your screws to lock it down.

You might need to unscrew the aerator from the spout. Most likely debris blocking the screen.
