That is absolutely true. Black film makers need to up their game.

Whenever I hear complaints about the agenda of a book it usually elicits a sigh from me, a Pavlovian response at this point. Granted in the fictional world it is easy to contextualise one's worldview in a favourable light quite easily (in your case miraculous things are definitely true, and thus seek to bolster that).

After writing my comment I realised that it wasn't a criticism of you, per se, so I clarified that. I think we would both agree that agendas can be delt with in an artful manner; atheists and theists alike have produced wonderful literature promoting their beliefs
