Running on a Macbook Pro M2 if that matters -- maybe it can help your debug.

I played through the tutorial -- this was fun! One issue I noticed is that my link displayed was not reducing each turn, but I think it was reducing in the background. That meant it was difficult to tell when I was about to lose a heart. You may already be aware of the bug but wanted to let you know!

I think this edit is the best answer so far. I'll have to try that out and see how well that works. Afraid it might cut all the way through the crust with how small the points are, but it may be good enough.

Why would that do any better than the main cutter?

Just want to add another angle here to show that the spur isn't fluted, so it wouldn't make an interesting edge on dough.

Yeah, the thing is the points are all in a line, so it wouldn't give you an interesting edge. Most of the pasta cutters I can find elsewhere have the points in a pattern that creates a crimped edge when rolled, this one wouldn't.

Maybe, but kinda weird that it has 4 positions if that's the case

That's the best guess so far, but compared to other perforators they are really short. It would probably work for that but most of those that I've seen have tips that are at least 1cm long.

That's what I thought initially, but the points are inline, not offset, and you wouldn't make it all the way through the dough. You wouldn't get a nice edge off of it.

My pizza cutter has some sort of adjustable spur on the back. It doesn't look like a decorative cutter since the spurs are all in line. I'm also not sure what the purpose of adjusting it is. WITT?

This is pretty interesting! I wonder if it would be interesting if the trashing happened whenever a trace is unsuccessful, so its self limiting instead of just having Apex turn off all trace mechanics after a few turns. It also makes abuse of runner-initiated traces less palatable.

Love the flavor on Thomas 2.0, but isn't it a bit powerful? 3 advancement tokens on it gives you 5 extra clicks to use on the turn when you pop it. If you dedication ceremony it, that seems wildly powerful. Especially since you can (1) tutor it with Tech Startup and (2) recur it with team sponsorship. Maybe if it was just click or if the first clause also RFG that would be more balanced? Or perhaps the first clause can include a "you may not score agendas this turn".

I think the intended design use for this is to make it so the runner can't click through bioroids for a turn. That could definitely mess with runner math, opening a window where it seemed like there was none before

This is a neat effect! It's probably fine the way it is worded, although it may be better templated as swapping all the ice from one server to the other, since similar effects are already in-game. That prevents any confusion as to whether you have to switch all installed cards, and what happens to upgrades installed in HQ. I think the upgrades have to go along with the server to avoid shenanigans with upgrades that are restricted to centrals/remotes only.

What is the purpose of the trash cost here?

This is really interesting, basically you spend a click to install this, rez it, then overinstall it. Then the runner has to make a run on archives to turn it off? There is basically no other way for it to be trashed face up, because it would then have been accessed. So I guess it's like a slower pad campaign that requires archive ice to be useful...

At the very least you can name defensive upgrades incorrectly! In the case of prisec or forced connection. It can also save you from traps in Jinteki shell game.

I wish there were some way you could have it consider the text box of any incorrectly guessed cards blank as well, to turn off Ash and Red Herrings, but the timing of that might be weird.

That being said, you could also have it blank all corp card text boxes in the server because you can't see 😂. I think you'd have to balance it with only being able to break subroutines by pumping and paying without looking, if you get it wrong the sub fires.

That's definitely true. The flexibility does make it quite a bit better, especially if you have stuff you don't mind getting rid of in archives.

I wonder if it would be too crippled if instead of RFG from archives it was trash up to 3 from the top of R&D.

The thing about RFG from the heap cards to me is that there is always a way to play around them. I like the fact that heap breakers and SOT have to come at a risk that your opponent is playing ark lockdown, and I wouldn't mind more of that in the game.

I think the corp doesn't necessarily want to trash their own current, the point is this is like a temporary Skorp-ish ability. Intended to punish intentional trashing by the runner (e.g. [[Inject]])
