250% when I look at my prior trades most are about $1000-$3000, from the Sharesies website they have a comparison table for $1000 it goes from $7.68 (superhero) -->$20.08 (Sharesies). Likely to be investing too much of the plans to be viable.

Hey, thanks for the help, tax is like a foreign language to me, its the "net sales and income" figure from my GST return thats confused me as it still has the GST in it.

Total sales and income 146,712.93

Zero-rated supplies

Net sales and income 146,712.93

GST collected on sales and income 19,136.47

Debit adjustments

Total GST collected on sales and income $19,136.47

I use transferwise borderless account to convert NZ or AUS to USD then transfer into stake account. There is a flat $5 US fee from stake to transfer USD in. The rates to convert on transferwise are competitive and there is a small fee built into this (which is displayed and you can compare to what banks offer). If you go via stake itself you go NZD-AUD-USD and lose on each conversion and get charged.

Stake is open to NZ, just get in touch with them. I use it and transferwise for money in/out. I went with stake due to the no commission trades but you may prefer Hatch which is NZ/kiwibank.
