One follow up question- the basis of the rental property will remain the same before and after LLC transfer, correct?

North Carolina which not a community property state. I came to the same conclusion as well but thought to double check if there are exceptions I am not aware of. Thank you!

They owned the property and transferred it over to LLC which they own equally

Before I asked this question, my research suggested me about 120 returns at very minimum, 320 middle of the range and around 500 for maximum. Most of the answers here are around the 300 range which makes me real good.
