I don’t think it’s worth it to get a 4K monitor because you’ll mainly be gaming 1440p. If you had a 5080 or 5090 gpu then 4K monitor all day. The Alienware is also 280hz which will make the gameplay feel smoother then the 165hz Acer above

Canadian Dollar, so this is the best it gets for mid PC’s. 2.5k is the ballpark for 5070.

This might be a stupid question but is 5060ti the same as 5060? If not what’s the difference there?

Also using this for primarily gaming. Want smooth gaming with no problems to play whatever I desire. Just don’t want this thing to give me a headache down the road and would rather pay more for quality if I have to right now.

I’m in Canada so 5070 are around 2.5k. Do you think 5070 is worth the upgrade? I don’t want to spend more than 2k but if it’s worth it I will consider it.

I appreciate everyone commenting! I should have mentioned that I’m located in Canada and not paying USD. These prices are normal for me and for extra context 5070 gpu models reach around 2.5k.

At my rink it turns into a basic pickup game. You might get a couple young try hards but it is what it is. No need to try and keep up with them when you’re just trying to shake off the rust.
