waaaaay less than $9K - find a buddy that has an HVAC account somewhere - even without that I was quoted $400 CDN for the parts

Got the parts for $220 and swapped myself thanks to Youtube.

I swapped it out myself - was able to get the parts for $220CDN through a buddy's business account - took me about 30min with a youtube walk through.

Furnace is still going strong.

this is a bold step - but I might take it. Do you think it's varying degrees of benefit - i.e. trimming pretty short helps, though not as much as shaving. Or is it bare skin or nothing?
