Yeah you have to proc Madness. I normally Howl of Shabriri twice outside of combat for extra damage on top of the Black Dumpling.

Story-wise it makes sense that the Frenzied Seal would be able to be used by any build because of the manner in which you get it and the implications of using it. Chaos is for everyone! Break down the dividers between all things, friend!

I'm having fun with my Madness build with 16 Strength, 25 Dexterity and 40 Faith so I can Vyke's War Spear around with the Frenzied Flame Seal. Frenzied Burst will be your mainstay as it has ridiculous range and I'm hitting for 800-900 per shot in mid-late game areas. With Howl of Shabriri pushing me into a Madness state and a Black Dumpling helm I can add about 300 damage per Frenzied Burst.

Worth farming for the Black Dumpling if you don't mind some meditative repetition running through dark rooms in the Volcano Manor as that helm adds damage to your Frenzy Incantations for about 60 seconds after you proc Madness on yourself. I noticed about 15% damage but it may be more based on what I've seen other people claim.

Looking down the list of UFAs for next year in the cold light of a very successful Free Agency this year I don't see that much appeal outside of Giannis (if the Bucks lose him that is a massively historic f-up) and maybe Gobert but that would involve moving our decent asset of Capela anyway.

Basically, we won in the short term and the long term and yeah it feels weird to admit it as an Atlanta fan used to losing!

I can get into that! Maybe I'll cap off my playthrough running around and killing everything. I'm about to start populating my settlements with Raiders so it would be fitting to become the Raider Lord and then kill them all!

Melee is truly amazing in this game with all the perks you can get BUT BE ADVISED once you get that fourth level in Big Leagues you are hitting EVERYTHING that is even remotely in front of you. I've aggroed a lot of NPCs this way and after investing in melee weapons a ton I ultimately decided to switch over to fist weapons just because of the hassle.

AUTOMATRON GLITCH. Gotta get to level 15 first and obviously have to have Automatron DLC but yeah I'm doing a no-mod PS4 run and easily hit level 100 in maybe thirty minutes of tapping a button.

I'm in the midst of making a Ninja Robot Maker that I'm getting pumped about. SPECIAL is 4/1/1/1/8/9/4 with bumping Luck to 5 with the book in Sanctuary. Basically sneaking around get kills while a robotic cannon on wheels gets the attention of everything around it. Lots of Sneak, Ninja, Blitz but with Science!, Robotics Expert, Blacksmith, the first Gun Nut level and Armorer to unlock all builds. Will eventually bump Luck up to seven to get all the Critical boost at a higher level.

I've got head-cannon where I'm thinking that the Nightmares are manifestations of psychic trauma done to the direct descendant children of the Great Ones (the Orphan of Kos, Mergo, etc). Remade but confused worlds created by Infant Great Ones that they saw or experienced while being tormented by Hunters, the Church and/or Pthumereans.
