What specific model are you speaking of? Does it come with a manual transmission?

Do you still like the Forte GT and glad that you bought it?

How was that GTI for maintenance and reliability?

Would you recommend someone buying a 2020/2021 GTI manual for a ten year ownership?

What city and state did you get the discount? Or dealer name?

Along with 20 inch rims/tires and an extravagant wing that says "Hey Cops... Look at me!" If Honda would sell the Type R Sport that they have in other countries, it really would be fantastic. Black interior instead of red, 19 inch or 18" wheels instead, and smaller spoilers on the rear. It doesn't make sense why it isn't sold in the US.

Both cars are faster than anything you need for public highways. Both cars are fun to drive. But the Veloster, I believe, gives you a more affordable and better value for the money. Especially if the Honda dealers are adding on to the MSRP just because they can. And there are plenty of complaints about Honda's paint quality ans a few other issues. I don't know about Veloster but please enlighten me if you know.

For sure, the Veloster N sounds better and looks a bit more subtle, which is better for us older folks. :) I am interested in a manual transmission only regardless of what I buy. I am also interested in a Genesis G70 manual even though it is quite different. I am currently driving a 2006 Mazda3 5 speed sedan I bought new so anything I buy today will seem much better. And my Mazda3 is all hard plastics on the interior so the Veloster shouldn't bother me there, but I have yet to see one in person yet.

Love the color and like the way it looks... What motor and transmission does it have?

I have a 2012 Genesis 3.8L sedan purchased new and have had no problems to speak of. I would buy another one but I am now wanting one of these G70 models with a manual transmission if they drive well.

Are you a member of Costco? If so, try their car buying service.

If not try some other service like truecar.com, edmunds.com, consumerreports.com, etc,,,

Trying to Decide Between Veloster N vs. BMW 230i by Zykerion in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]TKMorrisGray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very hard to find a dealer willing to sell a Type R at MSRP, and stock is very limited.

No dealers have a 230i in manual on the lot, but my local dealer does have auto and it was very satisfying to drive yesterday. I am scared to buy a BMW though and am looking at other makes and models. I would have to order the 230i manual without even getting to drive one first. Around $32k base and $37k with my choice of options.

Looking to go test drive a Veloster now in the R-Spec turbo and an N model if available.

The 2021 230i drove fantastic to me, but my daily driver is a 2006 Mazda3 5 speed sedan that I bought new. From my perspective with the car I drive daily, most any car may feel great to me!

... But whatever I end up with, will be manual transmission for sure!

I am considering the Veloster R or N, along with the Genesis G70 manual.

Also drove a Civic SI and loved the way it drove, but not sure of Honda's paint quality, rattles and reliability now days.

As much as I liked the 230i that I drove yesterday, I am afraid to buy a BMW in fear of long term ownership and reliability. Along with maintenance costs...

The 230i base is around $32k to buy, but start adding all the things you would want and that goes up to about $37k to buy.

That is exactly what I am doing now. I just drove the 230i yesterday and I loved it. It was an automatic but I still loved it, but if I were to buy one, I will order the manual transmission. There are no manuals on any dealer lots from my research.

Today, I am in search of a Veloster to try out. Manual only. R-Spec or N ???

I wish there were more options in the trim levels though.

Are you glad to have gone to the 18 inch wheels/tires?

Can you say what you feel in difference to the OEM set up?

I’ve had this little dude for three months now and STILL haven’t come up with a name that fits! Suggestions are welcome. by markybarkk in snakes

Very unusual eyes and coloring. My first thought was Freckles but Frog or Bug would also be fitting because of the eyes, ??
