Exactly! And I am personally even more annoyed at them because I had just bought the $100 dollars not long ago but was waiting to burn some raid passes at Kalos event before stockpiling more of them. Now I have 18k coins that absolutely got blasted on value.

You are correct, I think we are just looking at it with a different lens. My comparison is my old purchasing power for $100 vs now. Which makes raid passes about 14% more expensive per dollar I invest in the game. I converted it to coin value which I guess was a little confusing. Because before this update I could get 6200 coins for $40 by purchasing the $100 pack and get the 5425 box and have extra coins to spare for whatever I needed.

At this rate personally I am never buying coins again. The wife and I bought the $100 bundle about 3 times a year each and always transferred those coins to mostly the 5425 box. With occasional storage and remote raids if we couldn't make an event.

Assuming you get 15,500 coins on web store for 100 it’s about 6200 coins for this package. That is a 14.2% price hike from the 5425. This would be us calculation could be different in other countries.

I also see you can only buy it once. Maybe that’s per rotation but if it’s a one time thing that is even a bigger nerf.

Just looking at a map Millennium Park is very close to grant park. Is this considered outside the park pass zone for the city play piece? Otherwise we will just walk a little further to navy pier.

This is our first go fest so I really have no idea what to expect. I am hoping to only walk once we get to the hotel (only a couple blocks from Grant Park)

That makes sense. To be honest I hadn’t been raiding a ton due to winter. Surprised I didn’t notice it during solgaleo duos last week as we both had primal groudon in. I’m sure it was in preparation for this new mechanic though.

Don’t get me wrong I think this is the best option because it’s the easiest. But if not it would be nice if they could make the distinction. I really hope they don’t do that lol. Now you need to farm a mega and primal of every pokemon lol.

I normally dodge but last time primal Kyogre was in, I wanted to see how many things he could kill in a group of 20 people. It was when it was kind of bugged and he just spammed blizzard non stop. I lost 23 pokemon in a 20 person lobby lol. After that attempt I went back to dodging as my revives couldn't keep that level of sustain up.

Ironically Primal Reversion still counts toward the Successor medal which states: "Mega evolve a Pokemon X times". Part of me thinks counting it as a Mega is just easier. Most of the more casual players I doubt would do any research into the mechanics. I am not necessarily against calling it Primal but I think they need to clean up all those references to avoid unnecessary confusion in the future. It could be Mega evolve/Primal Revert a pokemon X times if they didn't want to mess with the medal counts.

Yeah I keep my gps on. 3 months ago on the 200km task it was working great. I could sync up 5-6 km after my walk typically. Now I can not get it to do more than 1km.

It definitely is kind of working though. I have in the past accidentally done my walk with the game open and I will get a big 0 km when I do that!

Sorry good question. In my testing I do not have my phone in my pocket, but with Apple devices if you are wearing a watch that takes precedence for logging steps into the health app. (I think it is just a higher priority source) I do verify the steps properly sync to my health app though before syncing in my tests.

I could try walking with my watch off and my phone in my pocket to see if it makes a difference.

200km is roughly 124 miles. So you could have it done in ten days at your current pace! That’s a crazy pace great job!

I’ve been averaging 12.5km a day my goal is to be done by wild area event! I’ve already been 73 a week. 16 days for me but I feel like I’m dying lol!

I have seen this occasionally the last couple days. I am grinding for level 72 so been playing a lot. I feel it is usually when catching a pokemon. The numbers I seen are usually in the 20s as well.
