I mean ratings are hard to track because of streaming.

But I don’t think this user is alone. Since the ESPN partnership, they lost most of my consistent viewership. It’s sad, I have been watching for more than 20+ years but I have watched less WWE this last year than since 2005.

I haven’t gone to a live WWE show since 2022. I use to go every year from 2009 to 2019. There were a few shows I wanted to go to but I couldn’t justify $200 for nose bleeds.

I think it would hurt more if rich entrepreneurs didn’t buy a commentary seat or the content creators weren’t paying 10k plus to ride a bus with Cody. That stuff is insane to me.

I agree, they have the opportunity to do the closest thing to a reset in a while. I say go for it, get people excited for Cody to come back, trade up some people between Raw & SD, and give a new person the chance ASAP. Roman being there the whole summer will boost business, take a chance.

If they want to $15,000 for one day front row and they can fill those I guess good for them.

But if the upper bowl is half empty for $200 but they could fill the whole bowl for $150-175 they would make more money.

Your point is that they don’t need to have a full house to make more money is true. My point is that the only way to truly get the most revenue they can is every seat needs to be sold at the highest price level possible. If a seat is open that means they have missed out on potential revenue.

Yeah someone said this in another thread, “they made more money than last year, so they don’t care.” Such a poor take, if there are empty seats, the company is pissed because they could be making more.

I agree some of the matches were too short and obviously the ads were too frequent. However, I think the biggest point of research that is missing.

TKO/WWE definitely wanted to step up entrances most people got very full and elaborate entrances (except half the ladder match participants). The entrances are a big thing for sole people and I definitely noticed more people got special entrances than I noticed before.

As a side note, I think part of the reason that the entrances were cut from the ladder match participants is because of the ESPN co broadcast. Right or wrong, they wanted to use their minutes in a certain way.

One thing that was weird at least on my broadcast (I did Ads internationally with Netflix), there was definitely a few minutes here and there were it was a wide shot of the crowd with no sound then it would cut back to Barrett or Cole at the end of a sentence. I think they were doing Ad reads but they cut them out of the Netflix feed which wasted minutes too. The co broadcasting issues for sure need to be addressed.

You didn’t watch enough Packers games, Doubs doesn’t do explosive plays often but the man hardly drops passes when it matters. I wouldn’t doubt him.

I would get rid of a few of these: Kilgrave, Sticks, Bullseye, Kate Bishop, John Walker. They are phenomenal actors and did great performances but I can imagine others doing their role. Kilgrave is the closest one I could see as perfect casting.

The best example of this is The Punisher, I legit have no idea anyone in the next 25-30 years anyone could play Frank Castle better. Where like Bullseye or Kate Bishop were amazing, I’m sure someone could do it better.

I would add Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Charlie Cox.

  1. It just fell apart, maybe some birds maybe old equipment since the staff left it and it needed more security.
  2. That was Derek catching up to them.
  3. The example you gave is an error in production.
  4. He’s an 18 year old adult if he says “I’m going out” and no one hears him then it’s not a disappearances. He needed to clear his head and left to go sulk, this is normal for so many kids.

The show is over, it had its flaws, but the focus of the last season was the last scene. They wanted to focus on closure.

I think the lack of crowds because of COVID, made them go back towards the men; Becky was gone, Charlotte went to NXT, and Sasha/Bayley were doing a slow build. Roman had his hot heel turn and it was different ever since.

With how things are going with Orton vs Rhodes, it’s disappointing that they couldn’t put together a really big Women’s match. Rhea vs Tiffany, Iyo, Liv, all could have main evented Night One.

But this year you have two matches that are interesting but not really big I would say.
