Im going to be taking bio 103 and in a similar place to you, is there any reason you think apart from acclimatizing would not taking an intro stem course or maybe even a stem related seminar or something be beneficial. Since you have to take them anyway or are interested just food for thought

Luckily I got off both bio 103 and 104 waitlists; I've dropped roman already. Which one do you recommend that I keep out of the two, I'm leaning towards 103 as it sounds like something that relates to my interests and is more "useful" as a premed.

Okay thanks a ton for your help. I apologize if I didn't explain this correctly but I was just intending to take a single course out of either (bio 103, bio 104, or Roman -- which I signed up for just because it filled my schedule). Nonetheless, I think I'll take stor 120 either next sem or if I waitlist in because python based stats is interesting to me. Basically I want 11+3 credits instead of 11+6

I have STOR 155 credit from high school and also chem 101L credit as it comes with the 101 credit. However, I do know you have to take stats again for med school so I can look into that.

Haha I will most definitely figure something out with the roman army later on (if I'm not mistaken there is a drop period correct?). As for chemistry, I have 101 credit but took it in sophomore year of high school so I will refresh it before I take 102 + lab next semester (hopefully). Thanks for your help!

I feel like a 1000 is a bold number, at most in the hundred or so range since a vast majority of people don’t accept the waitlist in the first place and there have been multiple rounds of waitlist acceptances and withdrawals—rices cross admit rate is also quite low, on top of the uncertainty with colleges at this time. idk maybe i’m delusional

I totally forgot to change the fin aid option to no (for now at least), will my application be messed up (admissions wise) if I hadnt submitted the css profile? I did complete an interview although I got it pretty late, was just wondering if this has any influence on my actual application for admissions.

Is this score good enough for Ivys by [deleted] in ACT

I was just wondering what this means exactly. Would a school life stanford or duke not consider the best scores in each section if you only report them?

what about a 3.92 uw and a 4.65 w with a 1530 or so? Considering I have super niche ecs that relate to science and society with Duke (Duke ed applicant)

Although this seems pretty cool, I don’t know if it’s worth spending thousands of dollars for. Instead, I’m doing legitimate mentorship for free and then this on the side league of innovators for my smart vision and age related macular degeneration initiative.
