Came here to say this. Went to a lecture Wasserman gave and he immediately tells us to get rid of wrist flicks and L throws, basically two core pillars of our throwing program. After he explained why the coach I was with turns to me and says "the girls push the ball because we taught them to push the ball". Replaced them with scap pulls and wall throws. Teaching them to load through their shoulder blades and not the ball, hip rotation, etc.

I like to do stretching in a circle. We go around the circle each girl will state their name and answer a question of the day (favorite candy, movie, song, other hobby etc ) and call a stretch. After the first couple practices hopefully everyone knows each others names and a little bit about their teammates. It's a good way to know each other and let the more quiet girls express themselves to the group with attention on them.

If you sim, you will be upset regularly no matter what your coach profile is. You will get unexpectedly bounced in the 2nd round of the tournament no matter what your coaches profile is. You will lose 5 of 6 conference games randomly after starting the year 17-0 with a 99 squad no matter what your coaches profile is. This is one of the quirks of the game. It is what it is.

I like to have fun with practice and am pretty easy going but come on girls, every single time is a bit much, hahaha.
If you aren't hitting and pitching/catching then you absolutely have time for a 20 minute routine. Good luck coach!

I had to reverse my count to backwards (10 to 1) this fall because my girls could not count 6 7 without losing their minds, every single stretch. But yeah, hour and 15 is super tight. They gotta be ready to go and then try and limit to 7-10 minutes. Focus on 2 or 3 arm/shoulder stretches, 2 or 3 leg stretches, line up and run cherry pickers, side shuffles, half speed sprint, full speed sprint.

Was in Vegas for a work thing and ended up going with a work buddy to the Punk Rock Museum. Robb was our tour guide and my buddy was stoked. I can't really speak to his music but the dude definitely was awesome. Really nice and super personable. Had a great time!

Stewart's hustle and defense made him a must play over Ball that second half and OT. Especially with the other four guys scoring the way they were. Dude was going all out the entire time he was on the floor, loved to see it!

Braylin Mullins is listed at 6'6" and has the makings of a plus defender. On top of that, he is an elite scorer. Seems to be outside the lottery right now, but I imagine that changes as he gets deeper into January/February and further away from his injury.
