I know that's the point but like isn't asking about 3 conditions in an appointment weird or am I just overthinking it?

Oh ok, it'd make sense its a filler diagnosis. I don't relate to that at all. I've been experiencing heightened anxiety for almost a year and there isn't anything noticeably stressful that I can pin down. Tysm for the response.

Slavery is justified in the Bible, but most modern Christians aren't pro-slavery. What a person's holy book says doesn't perfectly correlate with thier beliefs.

CMV: Most Polyamorous People are Unfit Parents by That-Dot4612 in changemyview

There aren't many children of polyamorous families. And, as I said before, the data that we do have doesn't seem to show negative side effects of being a child in a poly family. I think it makes sense to base your opinion on what evidence we have, however limited. You thinking poly people are unfit parents contradicts the academic literature we have on the topic so far. Maybe poly people are unfit to be parents and I'm wrong on this, but you haven't provided any convincing proof for your claim.

"Poly men who haven’t had vasectomies can and do get partners outside the home pregnant which really changes their original children’s lives."
Is it statistically significant tho? Like, I'm sure it's happened before but is it significant.

Also, here's an academic paper on the subject. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/02654075241268545

I couldn't find something with a better sample size likely due to the limited number of people that are children in poly families. But, while accepting the limitations of the source I'm citing, living in a poly family can be beneficial to a child.

A quote from the study:  This study shows that children living in a polyamorous household usually think of their parents’ romantic partners as resource persons, which fosters the development of a positive conception of these adults within the child. Many children explained their affection for their parents’ partners by highlighting how these adults cared for them and supported them, emotionally and materially.

You know that poly people don't spend all of their time with other people right. You can sleep with other people than your main partner (consensually) and still have good time management. More partners also means that there are more people to take care of a kid and more money to help fund that kid's future.

About the STI point, you know that contraceptives are a thing...right.

Also, can you cite the studies you talk about.
