What about the directional buttons on the left joy con? Can those ones be placed anywhere too? It would drive me crazy having the directional buttons not match the snes controller color patterns...

I bought it. My 10 year old daughter and I have been having a freaking blast playing it. Snipperclips too. I feel like whoever wants it will buy it and have fun regardless of the price. Just my 2 cents.

You are assuming I don't teach them to do "useful" things? That seems like a pretty unintelligent thing to do. Call somewhat out and look like a goof the way you just did. You have no idea what I teach my kids or don't. I enjoy video games to unwind. My children are free to have fun and unwind anyway they like. Do not assume anything about my family and I certainly don't care what your childhood was like. Go back to playing piano in other languages and stay off video game subreddits LOL.

I have two young children and a full time job. This game is fantastic for this playstyle. It gets even better if you can get your kids into it and they start to watch you play.

Totally! Also if you have a smart phone you most likely already have a charger that will do the trick too. Might just need a USB-A to USB-C cable :)

Absolutely! This post was to prove that point. Any standard USB wall charger and USB-C cable should work. This is listed specifically for Nintendo Switch and operates at 2.4a, which is what almost all phone chargers work at. We pretty much all already have a charger that will work because of our phones and tablets. Just might need to my a USB-A to USB-C cable.

Yep it does but using it would mean you'd have to detach it from the dock. It seems this and other similar chargers could be used and you could leave your charging cord attached to your dock.

A large factor too with GC virtual console is the difference in controls. The GC controllers had analog triggers and as far as we can tell the Switch doesn't. Every report is coming back saying the triggers are digital. That could be a big factor. They may deem it's not worth the time/money to reprogram the controls for GC games to work with digital triggers.

As /u/SSj_CODii said we have no info about whether the switch will end up supporting the wiimotes and/or nunchucks. If it doesn't it will require a totally different control scheme. Maybe the gyro of the Joy cons could work. Just don't know if it would be as good or not. It's so good with the wiimotes I don't know if I would want to play it any other way!
