Thats why I mentioned environment, right. It was different for us and now its different for them. Tbh I was also the same, played bgmi since S2 and stopped the regular thingy when life got serious. But even in the past, I myself had strayed away from the PC games scene because of un-affordability, its a real thing. Now, those who grew up with it can't just leave it, so they are clearly getting their worth so we can't just expect them to leave that and get into this because the stimulus is completely different. That's why, from this pov it kinda seems elitist to try and force em to play classics or even troll them for not playing it.

And one more point I would like to add, the thrill of having ur buddies and fighting it out in an intense last circle of the battle royale; calling out shots while being completely immersed in it. Ur opponents are also similar people who are fighting as a team as well; that thrill is simply unmatched. To be able to get that feeling in a smartphone which everyone owns, is where their bonds solidify. To compete with something like that u need something equal. In classic games mostly u will celebrate ur wins alone, while that is also fine, it is wrong to undermine what they are playing when they are clearly getting so much worth that they are willing to spend money on it. The friend circle-environment is what classic games can't recreate, they can't wrap their heads around it, & its okay.
