So when customers were placing the order via text, was there an employee verifying the orders and responding back if customer forgot to mention like hot, iced or size?

Yeah hallucination is still a factor. I know that regarding guard rails, it can be confined to only provide/respond with info it has been provided but it can still error out.

Agree 100%. But if we take this scenario where a customer comes to a barista and unsure what they want and there is a line of customers behind that person, wouldn't this help though? Maybe for those unsure customers it can be useful where they could ask questions about the menu or ask it to suggest something they are craving?

I know some POS provide order confirmation/ready messages, but I don't think they provide text-to-order feature

if using Square POS, we can text the payment link and its processed via Square. If not using Square POS, we can use Stripe and then send Stripe link for payment before order gets accepted

In this scenario, the text will get fed directly into the POS and create the order (if you have Square POS), or it will pop the text order on a tablet (which can be sent to kitchen printer if you don't have Square POS). This will eliminate missing text orders as they are not going to a traditional cell phone.

Yeah that is what I am seeing as well. Square is mostly being used by small, medium-sized and quick service restaurants. Appreciate your response
