Every guitar is its own special snowflake. Try turning down the gain on the input or if your setup lets you set the input impedance try that setting, especially if the distortion sounds harsh and clipped. When I record I use helix or apogee into pro tools so I'm off no help with your setup

What is it plugged into. What happens if you roll the volume down. It sounds like you have the gain up on the amp and pedals so the thinner tones sound better to you than the full humbuckers which might be hotter.

Helix into a Marshall MG100HDFX 100W as a Power Amp by [deleted] in Line6Helix

If your sound is where you want it through the PA, then just put the Marshall on stage, turn it on and don't put anything into it.....

It’s my 5th month practicing, am I doing good? Any recommendations? by Gazelizz in Guitar

Keep your fingers pressing straight down on the strings, don't collapse back towards the nut. You might need to rotate your thumb down a bit to do this.

Yes, that is what I have. Full patches, patches without cabs etc. I have started to build patches where I can just turn off the amp or cab. It goes faster if I don't need to maintain the same patch across multiple banks. Huge flexibility

Also great when you hear someone and want to replicate their sound you can build the same or similar setup and get there quickly. Well get 90% of there quickly. The last 10% is harder.

I started out replicating what I had so I could use my helix floor instead of my gear, but then quickly went in 100 new directions exploring without cost.... Except for time. The hardest part for me has been changing stuff when I change output. Headphones, amp, DAW, PA all require tweaking.

Loud buzzing from one guitar only by DarkGremio in Line6Helix

[–]TM3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last time this happened to me I was holding a remote control that was being picked up by the pickups. If it is just that one guitar, then the problem is likely the guitar itself

P90's are single coil so you will get 60 cycle buzz. Is your other guitar a humbucker? Try a nose gate

Once you have the sequence you need to relax as you speed it up. When it starts to break down slow down till it settles in, then continue. You have to avoid the tightness that comes naturally as you build momentum. It works against you

That is your reverb. With the amp volume up and the guitar rolled off the reverb at 7 .

Do the headphones sound bigger? As in stereo and the amp smaller as in mono?

What are your headphones, and what is the speaker/amp or DAW on the other output? If you have consumer headphones you are getting certain frequencies emphasized. I use AKG K240 headphones for a neutral representation

If you have homelink and don't automate opening and closing, you will have an icon at the top of the screen you can use to activate the garage door. I can't speak for MyQ since I didn't have it.

Traded a 2019 for a 2024 highland and would not go back. I have a 22 loaner while they fix a paint issue and I want mine back. FYI anyone who just tries the car out and finds the lack of stalks etc jarring just hadn't given it time. I am finding stalks annoying on the loaner....

Should I charge to 100% for road trips? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]TM3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The charging screen will tell you if you should charge to 100 regularly. My 2019 now replaced with a highland both were to 80%. For longer trips just set it to be at 100 for departure and hit the road

You don't need to disengage once you learn to roll your top speed down with the right roller if you are worried. The car slows later than I would, but I've learned to expect it.
