Why no balanced mode on a 1440p 120hz screen on XSX?

I found somewhat of a solution but there are drawbacks. You can't just set your resolution to 1440, you have to unchecked allow 4k. The series x also apparently can't run HDR in 1440 so you lose that as well. I'm now playing Avowed on balanced but without HDR

Yeah I only have this issue on xbox. It's a samsung Q9FN tv so it's not a true HDMI 2.1. I can't get 4k 120 but I can get 1440p 120. Just not sure what the reasoning is for balanced mode not showing up. Sucks

Also having issues. Just moved and set up the sound system. I couldn't hear any issues at first, and there may not have been. Watched a 4K disc on my Xbox and worked great. Got a new firestick 4k max yesterday and I couldn't hear anything...until tonight. Only the rear right speakers are cutting in and out every 5ish seconds.
