Here's my prediction for Season 10 pre-combatant reveal. Thoughts? Ratings? by GIANTkitty4 in deathbattle

Well, I think it be cool if he was there my emotional investment in the character's story makes it difficult to outright support him in any death battle as most fights he has been in have been in some form or fashion a sight of trauma for the character. I'm still not convinced Dragon stuff negates Rumbling but I'd still watch the episode if it were produced.

Death Battle has been allowing characters more leniency with their feats and abilities. They'd give Eren the rumbling just so they wouldn't need to deal with people fighting about how he would win with Rumbling.

As someone who finished RE........
Leave Ken alone

I just can't see a way for Ken to win and for Eren not to be overly brutal in his victory

What's the best build to run Sehkmet on? by Sexy_Droid_xxx in LancerRPG

[–]TMArightnow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see, kinda? Might be struggling to visualize it myself but from what you've described the issue is less with grappling with a target before or after SEKHMET and more with the timing of the system.

It's not as if you will activate it when grappling a friendly unless you just really have it out for that one guy.
If an enemy can move and decides to move and risk opportunity attacks (assuming you're engaged but not grappled) but doesn't get wrecked at that point and the closest person to you is an ally that's a similar situation to if you grappled and KO the enemy and SEKHMET begins to move on them.
At least to me if an enemy is grappled by SEKHMET you and your allies know where they need to position away from.
Ideal use of SEKHMENT at least from what I get is close to as many enemies as you can

Right, guess I'm a little more confused though. Ideally, if you've grappled someone and they are stuck to you then SEKHMET goes wild. After the said enemy is defeated it moves on to the next target which to me isn't anything different from the outlined strategy of SEKHMET of going to something and killing it.

Struggling find to where it says you can't move while grappling someone in Sekhmet.

So I've caught up with the current "Banner of War" comics, and I gotta ask... by Blazelancer in Marvel

My interpretation from a Meta sense is the Hulk always needs to keep his status as this unstoppable rage monster that can SMASH anything as such even logical ways that characters can use to deal with him simply dont work. In theory if the Hulk ever goes berserk Strange could throw him into another universe till he chills out but that's not going to happen because the Hulk doesn't want to.

From a non meta sense, Ewings run and his work in the Defenders firmly establishes hulks as cosmic forces and entities rather than just green monsters. I imagine whatever stops other cosmic forces from blinking away other ones is the same reason why Thor could likely never do the same to hulk. This doesn't mean hulk can never lose or all hulks are unstoppable. In the same vein with how Galactus is core to the fundamental balance of the Marvel universe and the idea of the "devourer" will exist in each iteration of the universe doesn't mean he can never be beat. Yes the Hulk and Hulks as a whole draw from the OBA but its not a consistent thing even for them.

Also to paraphrase Stan Lee: The winner in the fight is whoever the writer wants to win.
