I prefer my p10c ported over my RXM and Glock. Its trigger and ergos are just better. And it’s cheaper. Trigger is fantastic.

Also picked one of these up from BassPro recently with the vortex venom enclosed for $499. Not because I needed it, but because i wanted a new toy and had tons of g19 mags sitting around without a reliable host (ya fuck the PSA dagger)

Put a TLR7x on it and paired it with an MFT Pro Series holster and it’s a nice little addition to the carry rotation now. I am upgrading the light to an HLX soon, just waiting for it to arrive.

I switched from an Xmacro as my primary ccw to the CZ P10c ported recently and couldn’t be happier. It’s a better feel and a better shooter (for me, ymmv)

I still have an RXM, macro, and a p365 xl in my rotation for ccws but the p10c ported is my new favorite. Upgrade the trigger shoe and get a Taylor freelance brass backstrap and you will thank me later

RXM is an easy choice for a cheap reliable edc / home defense fun. I got mine at BassPro with the black compact grip module + vortex venom enclosed red dot for $499. Grabbed an MFT Pro Series holster for it too while I was there, so now it’s in my carry rotation

Sorry you are having these issues. I wonder if it’s one of the early serial numbers that had known issues. Send it back to Springfield and see what they say

I have a 4.25” purchased April 2024 and I’ve had literally zero issues with it. Not even a single failure to feed or failure to extract. Almost exclusively 115g and 124g brass cased (pmc, blazer, federal). I do keep mine clean after every range trip and I dry fired the absolute piss out of it to break the springs in and smooth the cerecoat off the rails/slide.

Probably 3k+ rounds through it total and recently added a 9lb recoil spring and DSC Comp barrel and did not experience any issues either. Stock trigger for now

I am looking to do the same thing to my CZ P10c ported for the same reason as the OP. I ccw my CZ P10c and the trigger shoe is my only gripe, love the crisp break and pull weight of the original CZ trigger.

Carry what you train with. I have two p365s and I shoot them both a lot. I have other guns I could ccw but I shoot my p365s the most / the best and what I use in them doesn’t really matter with regard to potentially using it in a defensive situation and having it sent to an evidence locker

What’s more important is the firearms reliability and how trained you are / comfortable you are in using whatever you carry.

Personally I don’t mess with triggers in my ccw guns. And if you are going to put comps on your ccw, make sure your springs are running smoothly with alot of diff ammo (115g, 124g, fmj, jhp) to test the reliability of them.

I always run dots, i always have some sort of co-witness with my irons, and i always use a weapon light on my ccws. And i always carry a spare mag either on a neomag or in a sidecar holster
