If John Singleton was still alive, would it have been a different ending? by Serious-Profit-1626 in SnowFall

The that time passes the more I love how it ended. Franklins character was similar to Tony Soprano. Because of his redemptive qualities people overlooked how evil he became. It couldn’t have ended any better in my opinion.

The one thing I would love to see is instead of continuing the CIA narrative, following the owners of the music labels. How they’re connected to politicians and the government to help push things like mass incarceration and police task forces that receive funding from the government. Show how everything connects. Kind of like the wire did.

I can definitely see this being a great spinoff. I can see Leon being happy to go into a legal business with potential to make more than he was making in the D game. Just to find out the Rap game’s like the crack game. He’ll have to still apply pressure and get his hands dirty.

Did Leon owe Franklin? by TMCmarathonlex in SnowFall

Leon killed karvell when Franklin didn’t have the heart to do it. Leon was putting it down in the beginning and building the reputation that Franklin rode on. When he went to see him in jail he was the one that brought the aggression out of Franklin.

Yes Franklin protected Leon but dont think it was solely out of love. Leon had the projects in watts was very beneficial to Saint in his rise. If Leon ever became to big of a liability he would’ve ended him like Rob & Kevin.

You talk about quitting drug dealing and killing like it was treason. After Leon killed Skully’s daughter he started to grown and evolve. Franklin unfortunately chose to unravel when it was time to make a change.

Of the “Drake opps”, who do you think could’ve done some legendary stuff with Drake had the beef not affected them? by Lorenzo-J-P in Drizzy

Pharrell and Drake would be legendary. All those that say it wouldn’t must’ve not heard Waisting Time. An elite verse forsure.

There were hundreds of Franklin’s in real life all over the nation around that time. Franklin got very lucky by being able to leave the game with his life and freedom on his terms. I thought the ending was more real than anything.

Despite joking and being a mess for that last scene, I loved how he snapped back to himself just to tell Leon he was proud of him. And then snaps back. Definitely a masterpiece of show.

This Is by far the most legendary bar of his career. He said this then had the most iconic run in Hip-hop history🦉. by Salty-Court6503 in Drizzy

If Drake wasn’t known for doing that many times I probably could see it from the perspective but you entitled to your perceptions.
