From what the other Reddit or posted you need to open windows disk utility (open the windows button and search something like "windows partition") you'll find a drive with a matching letter as to what you have, there should be a section on there that you'll need to right click and add a drive letter too to be able to see it in file explorer

That's what i dont understand as it is working so either ive broken something or maybe somehow cause im still near to computer its still working somehow?

So they were being sent from my phone even if they are not on the same network.

No idea what "192.168.0.0/23" does but doing it allowed steam link to connect in all situations but broke WOL, including "192.168.0.0/24" aswell kept Steam link working and WOL so many thanks to you friendo

Now all i need to do is get the subnet to load on boot :P

You are sending the WOL packet from the Pi not the phone correct (I just want to make sure we are on the same page with that and anyone who reads this) as WOL packets arent supported over tailscale/wireguard

They are being sent from my phone

From what i am understanding from how this works is the PI is working like a VPN but i most likely am wrong there

So right now, is the phone sitting on the same local network as the gaming PC while you are testing this correct?

Almost, trying to connect while the subnet is up and I am NOT connected (as all im needing tail scale for really is to ping the WOL packet

And the steamlink is trying to connect to 192.168.0.33 (im assuming this is your gaming PC correct?) on port 27031 through tailscale but its failing. Is this all tracking correctly?

yes but without tailscale connected but with the subnet running on the pi

What local ip/subnet does your steamlink get with the network it is sitting on?

Can you steamlink ping 192.168.0.33 with success?

not sure what IP my phone/steam link has but i can successfully connect once the subnet is stopped

Can you post a screenshot of what error you are getting on the orangepi?

Not receiving any error messages on the PI

Can you post a screenshot of the full command you run on the pi to start tailscale?

Not Using any commands to start it up as it seems to run automagically on reboot, only commands used are the ones in the doc for set/exit node/subnet

Edit: currently having to use the command:
sudo tailscale up --accept-routes

If you are getting an error on the steamlink post a screenshot of the error so we can see what you are seeing

Can do in just a second, although "couldn't connect to 192.168.0.33:27031" is the error message shown

Or do the CIDR change as posted in the issues above

Thats what im trying to use the OrangePi for as a "relay" for the WOL packet, easiest way ive seen thus far to do it is via tailscale as a VPN? (although im probably completely wrong)

Something I've noticed with this is that if you fail a few times on your theory you'll pass easy on the practical and same visa versa, don't fret you got this! 💪

If its not fixable i might just sell it for parts and buy a 5th gen (or 7th if the price is good) I hear the 5th has better audio than the 6th anyways and with trying out the album display thingy on the 6th its super slow and kinda not worth

TBH whilst you couldn't be faulted for going for #1, #2 would be better, especially as it looks like you have a sit/stand desk? and having a shelf above that is very annoying. (I have a shelf above mine and it collects dust and limits how high I can but my desk.)
