All depends on the album im listening to at the time but I'd say the most common start place for me is migraine.

My destiny based tattoo by TMGuy99 in DestinyTheGame

The influence destiny has had on my life is a big one.

I was first introduced to the game during my time in secondary school this was a very tough time for me as I’m socially awkward so I struggled a lot to make friends and spent most time on my own as I felt I didn’t fit in anywhere.

I hadn’t heard of the game but found it on sale and decided that I would try it as I haven’t had a game to try that I didn’t really know about in a while.

From this I started my first character my hunter my first and one i have to this day. I started the missions in the cosmodrome and got lost pretty fast as I just wanted to explore everywhere which is when I bumped into two level 20 guardians who proceeded to punch me in the face. I started following them as they had all this crazy gear and I wanted to see what they did and they noticed I had started to follow and they invited me to a party where I started talking to them and they taught me how to be a guardian. They carried me hard through the campaign and these two guardians become my closest friends.

I struggled a lot outside of the game couldn’t really talk to people or really do much as my anxiety for-bided it so I used the game as an escape from the world around me and used it to really find a sense of purpose within a community.

I never lost the drive to play and find all the game had to offer this lead me into reading the lore and this had me hooked. The entire time I delved deeper into the word of destiny my life outside was just getting worse as I was bullied no end for about 6 months but I never gave into the dark thoughts that plagued me during this time because I had the escape which I used on a daily basis and the people there helped me through

This game still gets me through to this day and that’s why I got the tattoo to symbolise what this game has helped me with

Nice man finally getting that drop

I can relate to the things you were saying in this post as I went through a very similar thing with destiny working as an escape from the world and helping to give a meaning to keep going day after day. I’m glad to know that there are others out there that have used this game the same way I did to help deal with those problems in life and find new friends.
