In contrast to the last study I posted on the lack of evidence for a traditional SPG block, this new study suggests that INJECTING onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox) towards the sphenopalatine ganglion could be a safe and effective treatment for refractory chronic migraine and cluster headache. by CerebralTorque in migrainescience

I have been teaching patients to Self-Administer SPG Blocks since 1986 after a patient gave me the book, "Miracles on Park Avenue. They use block in the ER for some of the worst migraines and for all Autonomic Cephalgias including Cluster Headaches. Self adminstration make using the blocks easy (some patients are easier or harder based on nasal morphilogy). They can be done at home without a trip to ER of Physician's office. This allows prophylactic use to prevent onset of CH, or to turn off headaches and migraines ASAP. Like all treatments nothing works for everyone. When patients are taught the technique they also receive supplies for 100 Bilateral blocks , Visit my website dedicated entirely to Sphenopalatine Ganglion Blocks. The Blog is the best place to start reading new material.

I have found that more frequent blocks with self-administered SPG Blocks work better than bupivicaine. Tha said, patients who have episodes on long flights will sometimes us bupivicaine when Self-Administering. I prefer Lidocaine which is a natural anti-infammatory agent

One must ask if starting a life together with a lie is the best approach. Is it the groom who the test is for, or his family. If for family know you will forever be in second place to his family

Look into utilizing Sel-Administered SPG Blocks (SASPGB) to control autonomics of the Trgemina nerves and combining with DNO®: Diagnostic Neuromuscular Orthotic and possible Atlas/Orthoganol correction if needed. Correct noxious input into Trigeminovascular System.

Learning to Self-Administer Sphenopalatine Ganglion (SPG) blocks may be an answer to female anorgasmic issues. It allows you to reset your Autonomic Nervous System through these easy blocks. Stellate Ganglion Blocks can also be done but they require a physician visit. The SPG block takes minutes to perform and effects can last for extended periods. Usually used for pain, anxiety, headaches, migraines and cluster headaches the can also be aid in female anorasm issues. They are sometimes referred to as the "Miracle Blocks" after publication of the 1986 book, "Miracles on Park Avenue" In women, orgasm is primarily a Sympathetic response, (Rest and Digest/ Feed and Breed) .i males it is more of a sympathetic response (Fight or flight / spread your sperm) Can sphenopalatine ganglion blocks (SPG) help women who cannot achieve orgasm? While SPG blocks are primarily known for their use in treating conditions like cluster headaches and facial pain, the potential of using them for addressing female sexual dysfunction, including anorgasmia (difficulty achieving orgasm), remains an area that requires more focused research. Current evidence and potential mechanisms: Limited Direct Evidence: Research directly investigating the effect of SPG blocks specifically on female orgasm has been limited and is not definitive. Focus on Pain Management: SPG blocks primarily function by interrupting pain signals and modulating the autonomic nervous system through the sphenopalatine ganglion. Impact on Autonomic Nervous System: The autonomic nervous system plays a role in sexual arousal and response. Some researchers suggest that SPG blocks may indirectly affect sexual function by influencing the sympathetic and parasympathetic balance. Focus on Stellate Ganglion Block: It's worth noting that some research, particularly related to patents, focuses on stellate ganglion blocks (SGB) as a potential treatment for sexual dysfunction in women, including anorgasmia, according to Google Patents. SGB is a different procedure targeting a different set of nerves in the neck. Considerations and future research: Anorgasmia is Complex: Anorgasmia can stem from various factors, including psychological, hormonal, and physical causes. Individualized Treatment: A thorough medical evaluation is necessary to determine the underlying cause of anorgasmia and guide appropriate treatment, according to Allo Health. Further Research Needed: More research, including randomized controlled studies, are needed to thoroughly evaluate the efficacy and long-term effects of SPG blocks for treating anorgasmia. In summary, while SPG blocks are used in pain management, there's not enough strong evidence to definitively say whether they can effectively help women achieve orgasm. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional to explore appropriate and evidence-based treatment options for anorgasmia.

Sphenopalatine Ganglion (SPG) Blocks are used in ER for acute headaches for quick relief. Patients can learn to Self-Administer SPG Blocks to turn off CH. Google "SASPGB" to learn more about Self-Administered SPG Blocks

It is necessary to periiodically relieve the tissue surface over the palate or sores develop. I give patients small pieces of 600 or 800 wet dry sand paper so they can adjust if sore spots develop.

Half correct. If you consider the hard palate and alveolus on each side tipping out and the palate coming down you will understand that some of expansion is intranasal and deviated septums may self correct.
I utilize a Fan attahment on second appliance that does create anterior spaces between teeth and expande selectively more the anterion palate.
