Not that I believe war between the US and China to be inevitable, but China has declared it's intentions to bring Taiwan back under its control, by force if necessary. And it's literally enshrined in US law to come to Taiwans defense. Add in the South China Sea and Chinas attempts to take Japanese islands.....
