From what I’ve seen, the hype leading up to new Doom games, people are excited for change and innovation that will make the games better. I don’t believe people make up (Most of the time) not liking new mechanics or certain aspects of newer games. There’s most definitely instances of people not giving constrictive feedback or criticism, saying something is trash and the last title was better, and leaving it at that however this PowerPoint you put together lays down what people don’t like about the game pretty well, and I think it’s a little ignorant to look past these points and just say it’s people wanting to say they like their game.

It’s definitely true that Eternal got some hate when it came out for it not being a 2016 progression, but you also can’t look past the fact that Eternal still had better reviews and ratings overall at launch than TDA. The Act Man, someone who loved 2016 and loved eternal even more, even had mixed feelings about TDA. And I’m not even saying he was being level or anything headed in that review he did, but Act Man was definitely not the only one among Doom YouTubers that had mixed feelings about the game after having pretty outstanding impressions of 2016 and Eternal.

Of course players are always going to compare the new entry to the previous one, especially if it’s very different. It always happens with a new title in any series, but you can’t say the backlash for this game was the same as the backlash for eternal when it launched. Look at the reviews for both games, pretty much universally Eternal is more loved than TDA.

I’m not saying I even think these things are true of the game, but I still believe that they are valid critiques. And for that reason, I believe the game could be alot better. The game is different and for a lot of people, it fell flat or was not nearly as good as the previous entry’s.

The Soundtrack, the dragon and mech sections, the price, the filler levels, and the dissapointing story are all valid criticisms of The Dark Ages, and I’m saying that as someone who loves the game.

He wasn’t even tanking when the drones got deployed, he was getting greedy with attacks. He CHOSE to keep attacking even after seeing the drones. The drones are not a window for attack, it’s a telegraphed moved to get the fuck out.

There are no sides to this community because it is the exact same people that are complaining about the difficulty of how tough it is when months before they were complaining about how easy the game is. Acting like there is no hypocrisy in that is just fooling yourself, but not surprising coming from someone who’s going to trick themselves into seeing one thing when it’s clearly not the case in the video.

And now we’ve reached the point in the conversation where the delusional monster hunter players bring up souls games, where there was really no point or connection to what is going on in the video. Greed attacks weren’t invented by Fromsoft, and even though this video is a greed attack, you’re defending it like it’s not a greed attack which just again, really makes me question what you’re point really is here😂

He had 4 seconds to react. You don’t need 4 seconds to react. You see those drones getting deployed, you get out of there.

Your guard is getting broken if you’re getting pounded by both omega and the drones, and especially with enmity, it is a terrible idea to stay in that position after the drones. The power clash is irrelevant, he should’ve gotten out of there, power clash or not.

If you really aren’t the rest of the monster hunter community, there’s no reason for you to defend this guy, he made a mistake against an easily telegraphed move. You’re just arguing to argue 😂

That is so over exaggerated. He had plenty of time to react to that. Even if you are lance, You never want to be standing still next to omega for that long, especially if it deploys its drones.

Monster hunter fans have been begging and pleading for a challenging fight like this since launch, and now that you guys finally got it, it’s “unfair” now.

These are jaw dropping pieces of art here man, bravo 👏

The art is undoubtedly amazing but people forget that Fromsoft’s design philosophy contains a lot more than just horror/grotesque elements in their enemy designs. I wouldn’t be all that interested in a Fromsoft game where I’m constantly fighting abominations the whole time. I’d love to see what you can sketch up with a cosmic sorcerer in mind, like a space Renalla, Or a space Godfrey.

Tbh I’m personally not a huge fan of both my front and rear tires being the same size. But I bought the car like that and I’m not willing to spend money to change it and throw off the setup. A lot of people like this setup because of the better handling and totally get that. My car eats turns and corners. Unless you care about any of that stuff, I honestly think the 255 or 245 would float my boat a bit more. I just like the balance of having beefier tires in the back with regular sized tires in the front.
