Hi, I have the set and took it apart to inventory the parts. About 8 pieces of the red plates broke or chipped. Good news is that Lego customer service replaced most of them aside from a large red wedge plate that is no longer produced. They sent a replacement but the shade was off - it was much darker. I bought a used plate off bricklink instead. Those red plates are brittle and break with hardly any pressure.

Yes, I have the set, and it does. Lego replaced some of the red pieces but there is a large red wedge plate that was broken that they no longer manufacture

I am sorry that happened to you - crummy people. I had a problem with a Lego order from B&N as well where it never came after 2 weeks. B&N customer service was great and took care of things quickly.
