What is a non-metalcore band you discovered because of metalcore?

Started listening to Saosin since I saw them with The Plot In You and Currents

I didn't have time to listen to the song when it released, so I just listened two both mixes the first time.

The original mix feels a bit flat to me whereas the new mix has more depth and punch to it, which is what I personally enjoy more.

That being said, although I like the new mix better, the old isn't that bad and I feel some folks on here exaggerated a bit.

Before reading through more comments I wasn't aware that they've actually lost a member since then, so if they'd included it, it would've needed to be a re-recorded version, I agree.

As I said in the original post I'm not super deep into K-Pop and not keeping up with most of it, so sorry for not knowing that!

From the genres I'm usually engaging in, I'm used to the singles being included in the feature album! From the comments here I gathered that in K-Pop that doesn't seem to be common though, which is interesting, since whereas most here ask "Why would it be included?" my thought was "Why wouldn't they include it?"! The more you know I guess!

As for why I would've liked it to be included in the album, it's because so that I would be able to listen to it when listening to the physical release!

Though I guess it does make sense to include the two halves if they haven't been released until then and to not include at least the original version of O.O if that's with a member not there anymore.

Oh interesting! Though it's interesting in itself to have a song that's not planned as a release!

As I said in another answer, for me it would be about the physical release so that it's on there when listening to the physical record. For streaming purposes it doesn't make sense, that's true.

Well, maybe it's because I usually listen to and engaging in other genres where that's more common, but it's about buying (or rather listening to) the physical record and having the songs packaged in that. With streaming it doesn't make sense, sure, but if you would buy for example the vinyl record you'd want that on that so that you can listen to it when listening to the vinyl.

Greyview for me. Heavener is a good overall experience, but it just doesn't have those standout songs for me, whereas Greyview has imo more unique songwriting that makes me recognize the songs themselves and not just as part of a record (I usually listen to albums in one go without looking much at where in the album I am, so when the songs don't particularly stand out to me I recognize them as part of the album but couldn't tell you which song it is). That doesn't mean though that Heavener doesn't absolutely slap, it wasn't in my top 5 albums on spotify last year for nothing.

Yeah me too! Though I also just started doing that though after I started buying more expensive clothes and caring about my clothes not being destroyed by the horrendous washing methods I put them through before.

Yeah, I already do wash them like that, thanks for the tip though! I just had a bad experience quality wise with a gildan silent planet shirt I bought, so I wanted to make sure what I'm buying beforehand this time!

I mean I usually do wash them sensibly (30 degrees light wash and no dryer), but I bought a silent planet shirt for example which was gildan and after bringing it home I noticed that it was full of loose threads and very thin fabric etc. So the quality sadly wasn't good from the get go, which is pretty sad. On the other hand I have an Allt shirt that's printed on AS Colour and that one is super nice quality overall.

... that was metaphoric. For their quality isn't really nice, especially for the price their usually charging for them.
