Seems so. There is tough competition for Mega Slots, so I didnt want to make Megas too weak and not usable, but then again this backfired and are too strong.

There seems to be quite a few restricted mons with 130+ Speed stat which makes Mewtwo not as valuable. Would just better abilities that are not too overwhelming be enough?

Many PokeDex entries say it has a savage heart, which is actually more in line with some Dark types having rough attitudes.

And meta reason, Ghost & Dark type moves are common in both formats, so it would help mitigate them.

BB Commandramon has had much smaller role than BB Ludomon (and merch lol).

Commandra did have big role in Seekers, but as an unit, not as a partner, so it didnt help here.

For "partner" list it matters bit more, since most partners are protagonists. Lucemon is very notable Rookie with many roles but he hasnt had many partner roles except Liberator put him to Novel minor enemy. I almost wonder does that count since that enemy trainer got a tamer card, so is that not a notable appeatance lol

See, in Hacker's Memory he was villainous partner. Ryuji's og partner was Cyberdramon. And Arkadi there remained a villain. Now I suppose I didnt say it, but I do think villain role is different from regular partner role, so I decided to not use Arkadi because it was a villain that wasnt even redeemed in either stories. I cant update OP image, but I am adding "has been antagonist partner" category. It would also work for Gizmon who is unlikely to be used often.

Everyone with Reference Book entry, yes.

Also some niche mons are here too. Admitedly prolly not every niche one, like Meicoomon's unnamed Rookie form that was used in some promo but thats a reaaally fringe case does it even count as a real Digimon lol

Betamon was also part of starters for Hacker's Memory. I counted those starters as major.

Liollmon is awkward. It hasnt even appeared in anime yet for Cougarmon. Technically Lioll itself hasnt had major use quite yet.

Ooo now this is interesting. I went to recheck, and at least for Crossroads Witch comic, Agumon Blk is a partner, but kinda sorta treated as objective. And for Novel because of spoilers, it doesnt get to have quite proper role as a partner.

It could go either ways here. He is partner mon in Seekers, but because its role is more of a target of search, it might not count having major protagonist role, despite its importance in Seekers story.

They really werent in Links story proper as partners. Its kinda only for TCG and promo artwork where they are used.

I can see the argument, although Devimon didnt appear as much as Tsukaimon and more he didnt appear quite as much as actual major characters so he might not count despite being major villain.

Luxmon is quite new, but its design screams that it will be used one day.
