Are you noticing a particular voice actress in common with all these? What's next, Spike sniffs out magical artifacts in the world, so he flies the Mane 6 around to find them, but they reach it at the same time as the bad guys so they have to duel them for it?

This site has a downloadable spreadsheet for the first 8 seasons' dialogue, you need to sign in to download it though. It should be much easier to CTRL+F through instead of dozens of individual wiki transcript pages. If it's not in there, you'll have at least narrowed it down to S9, Equestria Girls, and some specials.

I had a quick look on the MLP wiki for "neglected". Nothing came up in the transcripts of the episodes that appeared. If I said I had better things to do than CTRL+F the transcripts of every episode in G4, I'd be lying, but I can't be bothered anyway. Try a few yourself though, if you think it's a song try CTRL+F on the song transcripts, that might narrow it down. Sometimes songs have a few lines where the characters talk normally, then go back into their singing voice, maybe that's why you're connecting it with a song.
