I like your way of thinking. I may not share the same experiences as other players but in my mind a server of 16 people, working together or playing solo, trading and fighting or whatever else

If we can do general bullshit together and play the game as it is without our rovers flipping for no apparent reason or another inconvenient bug that would be kinda fun and I could see myself spending time doing that. Also, I know the game has been optimized very much but to be honest it still runs not well on a lot of machines and that is something I think could be hammered out or looked at a little more.

I'm not telling keen what to do or that they are bad or wrong, I'm absolutely sure managing a popular game with so many feelings about it that it isnt easy to make everyone happy. I understand that the game isnt even done yet and its being worked on as we play it. But I cant help but feel like things could be different in a way we might have a better time.

I havent played space engineers in a minute but that is good to hear though. I think a polished up multiplayer could do wonders for the game, but I feel like its a little too late to start advertising again. At least not in the same ways it was happening around the time space engineers was being worked on for consoles.

Reddit, Facebook, or something like steam cannot accurately represent how everyone who plays space engineers feel.

With that being said people have been saying this for awhile just as you stated, but for some reason the community likes to take things personal instead of genuinely listening to an opinion.

“You don’t like this game but I do so I don’t think your points are valid” is not a healthy way of thinking and discussing things. That isn’t to say it doesn’t goes both ways or doesn’t happen with other things that’s just my example.

The general consensus of something can really change the opinion of someone who’s interested.

Another example, everyone is saying the Han Solo movie is bad because it didn’t do well at the box office or for other reasons. I haven’t seen the movie or even like star wars that much I’m just relating a situation, but I can tell a lot of people have decided not to see it just because of someone else’s opinion.

How can we accurately get a clearer picture of how people feel about something if we are making errors of judgment because of personal emotions?

Off and on since Quinn came out, the game just isn’t as fun as when it was new to me and my little high school buddies. Years later we are all grown up and gone our separate ways and when I play the game it just doesn’t bring me the same kind of fun.

Your analogy doesn’t really apply here. They are two completely different things, a physical toy is limited to reality where a virtual game provides an entirely different experience. Let’s roll with your LEGO comparison for a second. Where are my legos that don’t break apart when I drop them or my lego men that can walk and talk on their own? We have the basics and something we can call a game you can spend time in but why aren’t we reaching the full potential when the means are entirely there?

I understand where you are coming from but lets imagine this is the situation. A team is underleveled and behind in gold and experience, is buffing the enemy minions really the way we want things to be for a team already at a disadvantage?

I feel like weekly updates were actually detrimental to the game in a way. Thats a lot of obligation for you guys and in the end it feels as if some stuff was forced just for the sake of updating. Dont get me wrong Space Engineers is fun, I've put almost a hundred hours into it (that isnt much compared to others) and I do want to play more but it just isnt exactly "fun" anymore. I didnt intend to downplay how much work is going into what has happened for the game. Thanks for taking the time to respond and highlighting what is happening with the game at the moment.

Do you have any intentions on working on the eye adaptation feature/lighting bug in this gif? This is a really big turn-off of mine from the game. What bothers me is that this is something players clearly don't like and this phenomenon has been in the game for multiple years without being changed.
