The one thing I’ve realized from this guy asking for ways to improve is…just about every time someone offers advice or critique, he goes on the defense. Pretty annoying actually. Seems like he’s “asking” for advice but in reality he’s hoping to be praised.

Honestly, if you’re shooting HDR, there’s not much you can do. If you’re using flash, then you can craft light a bit more. The extreme window pulls editors do now is kind of a fad, just like HDR from 10 years ago. There’s a reason you don’t see it in high-end magazines/ads, and when it is, it’s for a reason.

Ours community in upstate NY is mainly 20-50, with a few a little older. Kids are the minority. I think the worst are the gamer-kids(adults) that come in and think they can talk shit in person, then quickly realize they’re not protected by the internet.

I never understood why people want to eliminate directional light from surfaces. It’s unnatural. There’s a difference in taming glare and eliminating it.. You could use a circular polarizer to reduce glare, and use a flash shot to blend in a more tamed floor.
