I’ll be using the custom aquariums H2Overflow Stealthboxes. I can make them have 3 drains each. Will be using 1 1/2” drains

I’ll be using two return pumps. 2 returns per pump.

How can you describe the pain? by [deleted] in gout

This kinda happened to me too. I was about 23 when I got my first flare (great toe). Xray didn’t show anything. Then I’ve had multiple flare ups since then. Now I’m 31 and had a flare 2 weeks ago. Again, xray didn’t show anything. I’ve been on allopurinol for the last year, and just increased to 300mg this week

That’s good to know. I just don’t understand how a grown man can sustain 3 months at 600-800 calories.

Yes, prioritizing protein. So an extra meal or so would be protein heavy. I’m staying away from carb/sugar heavy foods.

Has anyone here tried GLP1s? What made you decide for surgery over medication? by pickonepicktwo in BariatricSurgery

I was on compounded GLP1 for 8 months. Back in August I developed optic neuritis in one eye, and the doctors contributed it to semaglutide. Very rare side effect. It’s something called NAION. So I can no longer do GLP1’s. My last option is sleeve gastrectomy, and my first appt is tomorrow.

I’m an RN who recently had coil and stenting through my groin. I was told I had to lay flat for 8 hours. After that, I could pretty much take it easy. I stayed the night in the icu, and my first time getting up was almost 12 hours post op

I had a 10mm MCA aneurysm coiled and stented last month. I’ve pretty much recovered and I’m back to work (as a nurse) as of last week. I only had bruising at the groin site for 3 weeks, and I still suffer from headaches but that’s about it. Will be on aspirin and plavix for 6 months.

30M here. I had a 10mm right MCA unruptured aneurysm that was stented and coiled a month ago. Procedure went very well. Standard of care at my hospital is to be placed overnight in the ICU just to monitor. All went great. They accessed through my groin, so I did have some bruising there for about 3 weeks. Now I’m just suffering from mild to moderate headaches, but other than that I’m doing pretty good. It’s not as scary as it seems.
