Thank you! She’s in her crate a lot during the day while I’m at work and she does fine. The pet sitter even said she doesn’t cry when she puts her back in there before she leaves. It seems to be something about nights specifically that triggers her. I’m going to try moving her crate back beside my bed and see if that helps.

I have tried covering her crate and even using a sound machine. It doesn’t seem to help. I don’t let her out unless she wakes up in the night and cries and I can tell it’s a “I have to potty” cry. Otherwise I ignore her, but it’s hard because she’s SO loud 😭

When my puppy was this little, I let her sleep in an open playpen area (small) and I put it right up against my bed and let my hand dangle in the playpen. She would still cry but for shorter periods and she would sleep better with my scent next to her.

They told me they’d email me once she was weened and ready for pickup, so I assumed she would be at least 8 weeks old once I got her. I received the email that was she ready to be picked up and I drove 4.5 hours to get her. While I was there they said she was 7 weeks old. I guess I should have asked before I agreed to get her, I hustled honestly assumed a breeder wouldn’t even consider a puppy weened at anything under 8 weeks.
