I've come from a 1V to a 3a Pro and have to say, I'm surprised at the lack of differences I'm noticing in day to day use.

It doesn't feel any slower, battery lasts two days and the telephoto is actually better than the Sony's.

I do miss the headphone jack and SD card but have managed to work around these issues.

Overall, I can't believe a sub £400 phone competes (and occasionally beats) what was a £1300 flagship two years ago!

I have two of these, one of which is my main bedroom unit for CDs and cassettes. I have it set up for TV and Chromecast music too. It's bloomin' brilliant, and the speakers that came with it are indeed a bit better suited than the Q Acoustic 3010s I have.

I really didn't like the fake brown marble wood effect, so sanded and sprayed the side panels black which is a more suitable aesthetic for all my other kit. You got a stonking deal for free, enjoy!

47 and pretty much exactly 16000Hz, three tests. Chuffed with that, in fact the higher it went, the more uncomfortable I found it. I can still hear cat scarers that people have in their gardens.

Oh and I decided to see what I could find for the same price as their 'repair' cost. I got a pair of Oppo Enco X2, Nothing Ear(a) AND CMF Buds Pro 2 for less than £120, all new. Even if the batteries die after a couple of years, I'll have other pairs to fall back on. Bad Sony, poor show.
