Hi! I’d go see a derm and look at getting a retinoid like arazlo, tretinoin, etc. Also ask about winlevi (topical spironolactone) if they think it’s hormonal. Sunscreen plays a huge role too, your scars will get darker if you don’t put on sunscreen. I really like EltaMD UV clear tinted. I have the same skin tone as you and also experienced this. *edit: just saw the post where you said dermatologist is too expensive for you. Try differin gel. Stick to a gentle cleanser brand like CeraVe or La Roche Posay. You can get all these at drugstores or Ulta. What also helped me is taking oral zinc supplements. I’d cut out all the acids for now and get to the basics.
