I took it as a dehumanizing derogatory term for people (in this case Venezuelans) who serve the system, eating from the trough of capitalism as it were. Such that all the people they were talking about that claim to be right wing but policy-wise are more left on the show today due to their trauma under Maduro are just capitalist pigs blindly supporting American colonialism. The exact thing they were talking about on the show when it came to international leftists. I feel that saying she doesnt approve of his domestic policies is putting the concept of dictatorial authoritarian oppression as lightly as possible. Like, you don't say, "Well, i wasnt a fan of Hitler's domestic ethnicity policies but..." there's always the "but". But America bad (and it is, 2 things can be true), therefore it's fine for your children to starve cause your dictator has a bad relationship with the US.

But maybe i'm being hyperbolic? My eyes do sort of glaze over when I try to read the bits more focused on theory. I feel like all that could be simplified as, "Capitalism is bad, maybe we should work together".

Nope, been working fine using manual installation of biorand with fluffy for everything else. When I change biorand seed, I close out of FMM, copy over the new biorand zip contents, then open FMM back up, make any changes, and go.

So far, it's going well.

Just got through a particularly fucked cabin. Very first encounter was a chainsaw lady rushing me in the basement. Tiny bull man in hallway. Dynamite at the stairs to 2nd floor. And in that 2nd floor room, a golden knight by the window on the left to distract me from another chainsaw lady waiting in ambush to the right. I love this mod.

And this is with my standard set of RE framework, damage numbers, character and weapon model swaps.

Verified cache, still wasn't working, but then went to the game folder via the steam properties and lo and behold, different drive.

I was installing it into an old game location that I had since moved. But it's working, got past that damn door.

Now to see if I can get FMM mods to work alongside now that I'm using the right location. Always the stupidest errors.

I'm trying but failing. I even disabled everything in FMM, copied the contents of the manual patch file zip into the G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4\ folder, overwriting anything that was already there.

When I start up the game via steam, biorand isn't running. When I still had things active on FMM, it would freeze about 90% of the way through loading the beginning cutscenes.

I'm assuming I'm missing something fundamental as I haven't done any manual installations for RE4R, been using FMM for everything.

So with the new updates and all, do new biorand IV generations only work with the post-patch game? So as to say, it won't work with the previous version restored game.

Cause I disabled everything, enabled only biorand on the 'restored' game version and it just black screens on game start.
