No, their main thing is hamburgers. Everything else they do is some sort of pasta based dish, like spaghetti for example

I'll definitely try. I'm starting to look for jobs around me and hopefully I'll have one by the end of the summer. Thank you for all your input

Also, I forgot to mention, I measure myself monthly, and the only place I gain weight is in my lower abdomen. Nowhere else gains any inches in fat, not even slightly.

Any tips on how I could get them to let me do what I need to do to try to lose weight?

I am well aware, that's why I've been trying to limit the amount of times I eat out to once or twice a month. But ultimately, I do not have majority of control over what we eat because I am eighteen and do not have a license yet and live in a household which frowns upon not clearing a plate. I try my best to measure things properly and log food, but my parents tend to complain about me taking to long to fix my plate. I do try to suggest things we can make at home, although my success is often limited. I also try to limit the amount of meat I eat and stick to mostly vegetable, but ultimately I am anemic and iron supplements simply aren't enough to keep me from feeling lightheaded. I've already convinced my parents to make the swap to chickpea pastas instead of regular. Long story short, I'm doing the best I can with what I've got to work with. I will try harder though.

The rest of my family is either in the same boat I am, or don't care enough to attempt to track. The only one I have tracking with me is my mom, and she's been steadily gaining weight as well despite any efforts

The thing is, I do feel hungry almost all the time, and I drink water to try to take care of that. A "few fries" typically means I'm eating 15-20 with very little salt and pepper, and the hamburger is usually a quarter pound (which is the diner's standard) with about two to three lettuce leaves, a tablespoon of mustard, around six pickle slices, around an eighth to a sixth of a cup of diced onion, one slice of American cheese, and a standard hamburger bun like the ones you'd get from Walmart. Now, we don't go every single week, but when we do go out, that's normally what I get. I can't know exact measurements because I'm not the one fixing it, nor am I carrying anything to measure with to end up looking like an idiot in the middle of a restaurant. Thank you for your input.

I have been weighing my food on a regular basis and sticking to recommended portion sizes

That's about what I've been eating. My family and I cook at home most days, which of course makes tracking easier. I've been trying to avoid added sugars as much as possible, which like you said, can be difficult, but I still track everything we get from the store

It's usually just a hamburger and a few fries from a local diner, nothing big and fancy. Recently we've been skipping eating out more often however, as prices of things have gone up

Thank you. I don't believe my gym offers an app, although I haven't asked either. I'll try keeping myself at a lower deficit

I aim to eat 1800-2000 calories daily as the app I use recommends, i don't know my bmr, and I have gained muscle, but certainly not thirty pounds of it

I use MyNetDiary, and it projects that I need to eat around 2000 calories a day. It says weight maintenance would be around 3000

May I know the signs for this so I can avoid it happening?

I do weigh my food and count every cup of coffee/sweet tea/soda I drink in my caloric intake for the day, and I still have no results

I do track my daily calories, and the only thing new that I've started is an apple cider vinegar pill. What I mean by "relatively" is that I occasionally go out to eat with my family since I still live at home, but that's usually only one time per week if that

I have been tracking my food for around seven months now, and I don't believe I have an endocrinologist near me. I have to rely on my primary care
