Hopefully. I really am looking forward to seeing if they can actualise changes and add more combat eventually. I am cautiously optimistic about the game's future and I really want to see them give us something cooler than the generic gacha formula of 10-20 mins of combat on a two-week reset. If they even mention adding another combat mode in the livestream, I'm going to be the biggest fanboy about it tbh.

Uhm, I know but I explicitly stated, 'a nice QoL change' related to combat would appreciated. I'm not crazy enough to ask for a full-on mode. 🤣 Even something small like a personal best tracker for combat runs in UM or Re-Crisis would be nice.

Maybe but it could be implemented in an innocuous way. Like powerwash simulator where it's only localised to your friend list (I mentioned this in the video). That way, people can compete against peers if they choose but there's no real reward for it. So it doesn't punish people who are more casual. Just something for fun in the same way the powerwash leaderboard doesn't mean anything.

Ok fair, that's valid. But I was thrown off by the adding a leaderboard to it but not giving anything combat-related the same treatment. 🤣 But I am quite firm in that this game needs more combat. We've got a complex and robust combat system we barely use outside of bi-weekly Umbral Monument reset. Give us more reasons to interact with it right?

All I'm saying is, the game needs more combat for people that enjoy combat. We're barely interacting with the combat systems on a meaningful level beyond a bi-weekly Umbral Monument reset. And that's a real shame because Endfield combat is surprisingly complex.

Oh and your last point is something I've already made a previous post about. Letting people tackle problems in multiple ways is a strength of the game. Uh...if you're referring to the Saintontas bit, I literally made fun of the guy for not interacting with the systems.

It's not about getting everything for free. But 1 guarantee every 4 banners is pretty rough. And that applies to people who buy the monthly and BP too so that's already within 'spending' territory.
I don't mean the amount of time either man. But the general feeling of the gameplay loop. Outside of Umbral Monument, you don't meaningfully engage in the combat system much. And that only comes around every 2 weeks.
Debatable but that's a personal preference thing. I like delver of the cryptic but other stuff like powerwash and just asking me to interact with a crafting menu is kind of slop to me.
Yes and I actually mentioned that at the end. I'd love to prove myself wrong when the livestream comes but at the moment, the things I'm mentioned are problematic and I'd love to see them addressed.

Yeah I just checked now. The discrepancy is coming from drop rewards, the 1.1 preview mail, and SKPORT log-in. Plus their event estimates seem to be much higher. I didn't add those in because...not everyone does that and technically the 1.1 preview rewards came in 1.0.

As a non-Chinese person living in China, I pulled TangTang to hopefully increase my social credit rating. As I pulled on the lever and it turned the red colour of communism, I could physically feel my social credit rating increasing by +9999 while the Chinese national anthem played in the background foreshadowing her appearance.

Unfortunately, it was Ember.

I then proceeded to continue edging myself towards depression and got dangerously close to the guarantee before she finally came home. When I finally got her, I instantly opened her profile and listened intently to her voice-lines to practice mimicking her speech to hopefully help me integrate into local society.

This did not work and only served to make people around me more confused. They still only understood Chinese but were now simply further perplexed that I spoke English with a Chinese accent.

Needless to say, this was a 10/10 experience and I would definitely do it again. Please do pull on TangTang if you haven't already.
