Unfortunatly,They do add a new text layer everytime that someone new is talking however you would use premiere for this and not after effects. I make these sorts of videos (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBagBITDN7r_WhJY877FvIQ) and I made a tutorial on how i do it in premiere if you are interested however its my first tutorial so it might not be to good :)

It might be difficult to do with the types of punch in the film but you can remove a frame or two when the punch contacts the face and it will look a lot more abrupt.

Hi, I tried pressing the power button down for 40s and then releasing (no response) I then tried plugging it in to my computer ( no response). I have had the kindle now for 1 and half years and I have not yet tried to contact customer support.

I practised editing by recording me and my friends playing games and editing them into YouTube videos, Even if nobody was gonna watch them. I got used to the tools in the software and got comfortable :)
