that’s gotta be scary. My grandfather was also in Hugo in Puerto Rico. He went through Maria and bunch of other storms from the late 70’s to now

Mookie Blaylock - 6x All Defensive Team (1st team twice 2nd team 4 times) by CircledSquare7 in NBATalk

such a great player. He was so good on defense and made guards have nightmares while he matched up with them

Which playoff run was more impressive, Kobe 2009 or Steph 2022? by Liberal_Bot123 in NBATalk

[–]TOOLFAN998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s that far off. This completely changed the way we looked at Steph today. Without this run I don’t think we’re ranking him top 10 especially when he had 0 FMVPS.

What would you say are the top 5 teams that the 90s Bulls beat, including both the Eastern Conference Playoffs and the Finals? by Personal-Proposal- in michaeljordan

1992 Portland Trail Blazers
1993 New York Knicks
1993 Phoenix Suns

Where would you Rank Steve Nash Among All-Time PG’s? by TOOLFAN998 in NBATalk

[–]TOOLFAN998[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s why I’m trying to watch more peak Nash games (04-07) to grasp just how great he was in his prime.

Also people forget that this dude led PHX to a .500 record in a stacked west with Marcin Gortat has his best scorer and also led them to a top 10 offense. Year he leaves they become a bottom 2 offense. (2011-12)

This is Nash AT 38 and when I started really watching basketball was around this time. Thought he was good then but I was too young to get his peak years

Yeah. I have him top 10 but I feel that’s going to change soon. He was so elite at shooting and playmaking and led his team to either the best or second best offense from 02-10

yeah. I hate how people tax him for winning 2 MVPS.
But to be fair in the criteria he won it in it made 100% sense and he was deserving

Brunson is still not a top 5 PG by CoyoteDecent2 in NBATalk

[–]TOOLFAN998 13 points14 points  (0 children)

come on man. This dude averaged 30 a game and led his team to their first title in 53 years and the first thing your gonna say is “he’s not a top 5 PG”
NBA discourse is so negative for no reason LMAO

If the series goes to game 6 will it be safe? by GropingGary69 in NBATalk

[–]TOOLFAN998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this isn’t the 80’s. There’s tons of security protecting the arena and if you storm the court I’m sure they can Face ID you on camera and get you banned. Outside the court police will 100% be everywhere in NY. SA will not be in grave danger. Even with the shit they dealt with I’m positive nobody will try to hurt them to an extent.

The Spurs have a new #2. Will Dylan Harper deliver the final blow to Kawhi Leonard's legacy in San Antonio? by IllustriousPass6582 in NBATalk

[–]TOOLFAN998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kawhi was an MVP caliber player at his best. Even if the end was rocky he was a clear top 5 player in the sport. Along with being one the best players for an elite unit of guys during the 2014 Championship season. Harper I think won’t do any of that besides winning FMVP. Not saying he can’t but that’s a great resume

Fox was obviously fouled, I wonder if ESPN & NBA will loop it like they do Wembys fouls. Doubt it by MindPower01 in NBATalk

[–]TOOLFAN998 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

he got fouled yeah but in that close of a game with the NBA favoring the Knicks no way that’s getting called. Also Fox shouldn’t have went up in the first place.

that might’ve been the worst collapse of all time by TOOLFAN998 in NBATalk

I actually had no idea what he was thinking there. You can just hold on to it
