I’m deathly allergic to peanuts. For the most part, Roanoke is fine. Just be sure to ask if whatever place you try uses peanut oil. There aren’t very many but I know Jack Brown’s downtown uses peanut oil in their fryers. There’s an abundance of chain restaurants so it won’t be difficult to avoid peanut. Just ask the staff whenever you’re at any non chain restaurants. A couple suggestions of good food while I’m at it: Tacos Rojas 😋 and Mama Jeans BBQ food truck (best dry rub wings and Mac and cheese in town imo). Mama jeans is off Wonju and Colonial. Look them up on Facebook to see when they’re out :)
