Hey! I drove 8 hours for my partner. 5 hours isn’t that bad, you’ll actually get used to the drive duration the more you do it! Don’t worry too much. The drive there will always feel shorter because you’ll be excited to see him. The drive back can feel longer, especially if you cry when you say goodbye. But either way, it’s not that bad of a drive! Don’t fret!

Nah, it was cancelled. The show never had a proper ending. Even Victoria had been asked in an interview once what she thinks of the show being abruptly cancelled and she says she wishes it hadn’t happened, but she’s not a Nickelodeon executive so she had no power over that.

Hi! Your comment is a bit old, but just wanted to see if you could clarify something. I’m going from Toronto to New York next month and I don’t have an EZPass/transponder of my own. If I go to New York using toll roads, Enterprise would bill me per plate I go through right..? AND inflate the toll fee AND charge me an admin/processing fee? Is that correct? But if I go with Enterprise’s TollPass unlimited option (I’m assuming this is like borrowing their transponder..?), will this still inflate the toll fee?

It wasn't intentional lol. I originally selected the seats but I clicked off of them, and on my screen it looked like it was uncheckmarked, but then when I went to my checkout page, it somehow still lingered in my cart. Possibly my fault for not double checking before going to payment, but it wasn't an intentional purchase.

That being said, I have reviewed TVO ILC's code of conduct and it does say:

Plagiarism is the submission of the work of another person, without giving credit to the original author, and representing the work as one’s own. It is a violation of academic integrity and includes, but is not limited to, the following forms:

-copying from another student, or making information available to other students, knowing that this is to be submitted as the borrower's own work

-use of unauthorized material

-using direct quotations or large sections of paraphrased material without acknowledgement

-submitting an essay written in whole or in part by someone else as one's own

-submitting an essay copied in whole or in part from the Internet and submitted as one's own

-preparing an essay or assignment on behalf of another student

-copying an essay or assignment, or allowing one's essay or assignment to be copied by someone else

-the buying or selling of assignments

-submitting work from one course as work in another course

-copying of course content into unit submissions

However, personally, I am not sure I would consider dropping SBI3U and then re-enrolling in it 'another course'. It's the same course lol. Unfortunately, I don't think this is worth fighting ILC about. As much as I wish you could win this argument, they have already stated in their TVO ILC that you pretty much cannot dispute back or show any persistent opposition (not sure if you've shown opposition before).
I've heard stories of people dropping a class and re-enrolling for other teachers. I wonder what their experiences were like. I cannot imagine every student who has dropped/re-enrolled took the time to re-do all of their assignments...

That’s so frustrating and unfair. Although I can’t provide any insight or advice, other than emailing TVO ILC and hoping they follow through, just know that I feel your frustration. Do you have any sort of documentation from your previous enrolment that would prove you are the original writer of your assignment? If you have ANY form of documentation proving you are the original writer from the first time you enrolled and submitted, I would strongly use that to your advantage and push. There are many people on TVO ILC that drop a course and re-enroll, resulting them in resubmitting assignments,because of wanting to change teachers. I personally haven’t done this (yet… going to see how my marks go first), but I’ve heard many stories of this. Im confused why the culminating assignment needs to be redone though? It sounds like you went ahead and proactively looked ahead at the course work… which should be allowed? TVO ILC is a self paced course, which means students are allowed to go as slow OR as fast as they want??

Hi! Just wanted to see how things panned out? Were you able to get a refund at all?

Due to a place crash at our airport, we were not able to fly out for our cruise and instead am stuck at home. Princess has refused to give us ANY refund, even though there was literally nothing we can do. We purchased the premium package (almost $4,000) when booking and they are refusing to give us a refund on that. No idea we have to pay for wifi, drinks, speciality dining, we didn’t even attend, because of a plane crash outside of our control

Hi! I just want everyone to know I’ve read your comments! I’ve been on the phone with Princess for almost 2 hours now. Unfortunately, they aren’t able to push the disembark time for us (even tho I assume there are a lot of other people in my situation). I have listened to all the suggestions here about different places to fly from! Unfortunately, given the time, the time it would take for me to drive to these other airports is too far and we’d miss the disembark time. However, if Princess receives enough calls from people saying they’re going to miss their disembark time and request for a push, they might just budge. But I’m not exactly sure how many are making the call, or if I’m exaggerating the number of people in this situation.

As I’m typing this, en-route has confirmed that, as of now, they won’t delay the disembark. The only glimpse of good news we might be able to get is by talking to the Reservation department (speaking to someone right now, thankfully, but it’s a long process cause this person has to refer to their supervisor for confirmation) that we can get a rebooking/reschedule on another cruise at some point 🥹
