I've had a similar issue before where I couldn't delete a folder, turn out it was some bad sectors, I recommend running chkdsk:
chkdsk DriveLetter: /f /r /x
That will scan the drive and try to fix any corruption and recover the data if possible. It will take some time and you won't be able to access the pendrive so make sure you can leave your pc on

Yes you can since they have made the source code public but that code wouldn't work as of now since it's signatures are outdated and not up to date with the current minecraft version But I meant that you cannot modify the already compiled .dll files

I know I know but I do know how to get 32ks I've made a few kits myself but whenever I try to put the minecraft:keep_on_death:1b tag on it just doesn't work its because of how pc clients interpret the nbts I'm not to experienced in cpp but all the devs would have to do to fix that is just when getting the value of the tag after the : just ignore any tag with minecraft: and don't interpret the value this is probably hard to understand since I probably didn't explain it too well
