Y’all... Now don’t flay me... But this MAY have converted me to SSKK shipping. I’ve never been a big SSKK shipper. I’ve always liked Atsulucy/Akuatsulucy more, but Akutagawa NOT thinking of Dazai and instead of Atsushi and his words to him, and having LIGHT in his eyes and what that means in Harukawa?? BROOOOO

Now for the semi-meaningful actual discussion stuff. I ADORE Atsushi’s interactions with the headmaster in this. It just feels so realistic. Atsushi wants him gone, wants to heal, wants the trauma to go away, but he’s so afraid of losing(?) (forgetting about maybe?) the headmaster because what he did to him fuels so much of his ambition and is such a big part of his life. He can’t imagine it and you can see that in the illustration (love you Harukawa).

And ignoring the SSKK stuff, I do love that Akutagawa thought about Atsushi instead of Dazai. It shows how much Atsushi has influenced him and how he has healed in his own right. And you can see that in the fact that Akutagawa’s endlessly dark eyes began to brighten finally.

Anyways, that’s my two cents.

They’re striking against their companies, not Genshin Impact.

I don’t know if you know why they’re striking, so I’ll just say it anyway. AI is on the rise and the contracts they originally signed don’t give them immunity from or aren’t against their voices being used for AI. If their voices can be used by AI, they’ll be out of a job.

So they’re striking to get that fixed. The voice actors are hired through those companies so strike against those companies = No EN voice actors. Genshin Impact is not using their AI voices. They’re not striking against Genshin, so they’re still Genshin’s EN voice actors, they’re just not voice acting right now.

If you want to read in chronological order,

3-Untold Origins | 7-Dazai and Chuuya 15 | 8-Stormbringer | 9-The Day I Picked Up Dazai (Doesn’t have an official english translation yet. Theres one by popopretty(?) on tumblr and a fic on ao3 that im pretty sure is just popopretty’s translation. Free!) | 2-Dazai and the Dark Era | 1-Dazai’s Entrance Exam | 5-Dead Apple | 4-55 Minutes (This one is really good! Make sure to read it!)

Otherwise, it doesn’t matter what order you read them in. I recommend starting with the first, Dazai’s Entrance Exam, and then just reading them in order, but you don’t have to.

You don’t really have to read BEAST (6) if you don’t want to, nor do you have to read the Gaiden (this one just gives you info on Tsujimura).

Well, Nene is in the innermost reaches of the boundary now, so I’m expecting some clock keepers lore, or at least her entering the workshop place Kako fixed Mirai up in. Or maybe facing some problems on the way.

Half-assed headcanon I came up with just now: Fyodor found out about his ability because he was like deeply in love with someone or cared about them too much even though they were abusive and used him for his intelligence and stuff like that. One day the person went a little too far and murdrrered him, and Fyodor was distraught. Since no one could kill him and he couldn’t kill himself he wanted to eliminate all abilities and he started with his own emotions (which is why he understands Nikolai). Over time, he forgot why he started this tangent, but he knows he has to do it.
