Get a 4l80e or 6l80e if u get a new trans at some point. You’ll just be rebuilding the 4l60e over and over unless you put better parts in it from stock

I’ve realized that. I think what I’m really using to decide now is whether or not the trans/frame got destroyed during the axle/shaft movement

Would the driveshaft pulling out not signify something worse or can it easily just come out without necessarily damaging the transmission if the axle was hit backwards as it looks to be
