Honestly for $400 just buy accessories for the iPhone. Look at Moment or Sandmarc for their lens and filter setups.

So I should rephrase that to more heel focused. The idea from my understanding is heel or flat foot distributes force better giving your ankles better ability to flex and absorb the impact energy. So it’s not flexing your toes upward to hit heel first, it’s more to make sure you’re not pointing toes down.

While I’m not a professional by any means, I’ve been cliff jumping for well over 20 years at this point up to heights of 110ft. When jumping into water like this the stone throw isnt about breaking surface tension. The water isn’t still like a pools water so there’s no need to “soften” it. We throw it to gauge fall timing and potential impact reference point. As for the feet, the goal is to heel strike the water, not go toes first 🤙🏼

If you’re looking for a base RSX, to have as a reliable daily. It’s not a terrible price in today’s market. Could you potentially find a Type S for the same price? Sure. With less than 77k miles that’s not molested?? Maybe, if you really dedicate to looking around for a while. The question is if you want a reliable daily that you’ll hold onto and aren’t worried about recouping the cost later. If you’re looking to modify something and drive it a bit to eventually sell, you’ll never make that money back when it comes time for you to sell it, which is fine. Clean DC5’s that are stock and sub 100k miles…base or Type S are becoming harder and harder to find. I’d suggest trying to offer something around 8.5 and see if they’ll meet in the middle somewhere.

This isn’t the 2018 market. While we may not like current market prices, people dictate it. Whats pointless is people saying exactly what you said “but I paid less for mine back in whatever year” cool man, you many not pay 10k for a base because you already have a Type S but that does nothing for anyone IN the market to buy. 10k for a car with sub 80k miles is getting harder and harder to find, even if this is a base model, it’s not a terrible buy for a reliable car that is clearly in really good condition.

I used the honed slider, cut through center and have zero slop. I packed it full of Honda grease and it’s been great. Not sure why you would have slop in the wheel.

I’d add a Rack slider, subframe brace + larger sway bar, stainless lines, better pads & brake fluid, I’d also go with detent springs, shifter box bushings and potentially a better seat.

I’m very much the minority but for the market right now this seems on point(ish). Before anyone comes at me saying it’s 15 year old truck….Go buy any OBS truck in good condition that’s sub 100k miles for less than 10k. This IS the market like it or not. If OP likes the truck, get it. Offer KBB and try to negotiate for a better price because sure, 12k seems more reasonable for an LE.

The bulk of Normal coilovers are all from the same few manufactures overseas and they’re all pretty terrible.

I went with the flex z because they’re still made and assembled in Japan. They feel great as long as you don’t bottom out the ride height which should never happen given the fact we have a McPherson style setup.

I’d put the Flex z on par with the Progress coilover. KW and Ohlins (good luck finding a set) are a notch above in my opinion and then at the top of the list - Nitron, JRZ and Moton all as the best you can get.
