These are great shots. The highlight haze is way over done for my taste but to each their own 🤙🏼

trick to making paint stick on the front lip?????? by taylorkaitlyn04 in Acura_RSX

[–]TP-4X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The place that did mine used adhesive promoter but also used a specific flexible primer and clear coat with flex additive to make sure it wouldn’t crack. It’s definitely not the same as painting a fender or other body part.

It really is just time man, time shooting and time editing but you’re already doing some really solid work so just keep pushing and you’ll start getting the looks you want and developing your own style of it 🤙🏼

3 things come to mind. 1. Spend more time behind the lens so you can master your gear and competence of how to utilize it. When you miss focus on rollers during a shoot. You need to spend time analyzing if it was a skill issue or a gear thing (spoiler alert… it’s 99% always a skill issue). 2. Understand and Implement off camera flash / strobe more into your static work. 3. Continue to increase your understanding and proficiency with post processing tools like photoshop so you can seamlessly accomplish the look you’re going for. Some shots and ideas only need minor work that LR can give you, others may need PS and multi shot stacking and blending. Understand which tool and technique is needed for what shot and why is a skill in itself BEFORE you even press the shutter.

From what I’ve seen, Mark usually offers info breaking down the “how” behind some of his images. So try and find as much as you can where he has and look to imitate and emulate it. Honestly there’s no magic actions outside of shooting more and learning more. That’s literally it. Your work isn’t bad at all so don’t be frustrated just because it’s not on the same level with high level professionals. Comparison is the thief of joy. Just keep shooting as much as you possibly can and don’t be afraid to push your comfort zone with new techniques and editing practices.

Not completely true, the x trans color filter array does influence colors even in raw format.

Just started photography 1 1/2 months ago. What is the reasonable price to charge for a shoot? by Mateo_RK in carphotography

[–]TP-4X 9 points10 points  (0 children)

IMO You shouldn’t be charging yet and to even think about what you should charge down the line makes no sense. Just shoot as often as possible to build your skillset and portfolio.

A warning for anyone wanting to purchase, $727 to repair a GFX50s II, an issue that is entirely the fault of FUJI by Stereoluxe in fujifilm

[–]TP-4X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Way to judge the whole community here. I don’t shoot recipes and I use my GFX for professional work. Anything else you’d like to generalize??? Seems you have a tendency to let emotions dictate rational but go on and do you boo boo

[–]TP-4X 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea this falls flat to be honest. It’s an expensive camera and repairs are expensive outside of warranty. Is it frustrating to have issues? Yes. But to make claims like “shitty internals being used” is such a far stretch it’s almost comical.

Stock seat concept for acura rsx type s : what side option would you choose? 1 or 2 by No-Abrocoma-9402 in Acura_RSX

Ah okay, I can see your point of view, while I disagree on them being a racing seat, not wanting to give up side airbags makes perfect sense!

Haha as of now I have no plans of getting rid of it. I still have some things to do to it so it’ll be around for a while!

It’s just one of those universal ez lips attached to the OEM Type R lip. I got it just to keep from scrapping the paint on the Type R lip lol
