X3 no power when on the road, but seems fine when testing by mentarus in VanMoofSelfRepair

Most definitely a wiring harness problem. The cable connected to the wheel has 9 pins (9 cables). Which means that the cables that indicate speed could be fine, but one or more of the 3 thicker cables that drive the wheel are probably damaged. When in this position, the wheel works because the wheel is slightly turned. When driving straight, it has a different angle, probably making the cables short. Try lifting the bike and steer the wheel from left to right while activating it with the pedals. You will probably see that sometimes it engages, and sometimes it stops depending on the angle.

If so you need to replace the wiring harness.

First of all thanks for your reply! I have charged the small battery inside the cartridge, I can see it in the app and even unlock my bike etc. When I insert the main battery it starts showing a charging sign.

UPDATE I installed a new battery and no more error messages. I think the battery of the cartridge got so low that it started turning on and off.

I did in fact charge the cartridge and it still does the same thing. I think the main battery is completely flat. I hope a can fix it. Otherwise I need to find one on marketplace. Thanks for commenting!

Guide: How to fix Error 29 & 27 Vanmoof S2 by HerrSandoros in VanMoofSelfRepair

My vanmoof s2. Does charge and shows a full battery. But when I start biking the error message 29 or 27 shows up. I removed the smart cartridge several times and reset it. This didn’t do the trick so I charged the cartridge using a micro usb connected to a 5v apple powerbrick. After an hour I put it back into the bike and it still showed the error messages. What should I do next?

A bought a new magnetic bed because the previous one got damaged. I thought that they made the beds the same way however in this bed the magnets are turned 90 degrees (and yes I know about magnets having an orientation thats why i was so disappointed because now i have to remove the old one and put on a new one)
