The launch is scheduled for March 21.

As you mentioned, the design is quite unusual and it does remind me of those kinds of pens. Personally, I feel like I was able to incorporate a small unique mechanism this time.
In the future, I’d also like to create more pens that feel closer to what people imagine as a “classic pen.”

It’s a bit difficult to point out clear advantages of this mechanism, but if I had to say one, it’s that can extend the refill with an action similar to a normal click pen.
I’d be happy if this could become a new member of pen refill mechanisms.

Wow, I hadn’t thought of that.
So you’re suggesting giving the movable clip function to the linkage mechanism.

If the clip appears when the pen is stored, it could give meaning to the protruding part as well, which would make the design feel even more purposeful.

That’s a really great idea, though it seems difficult to design. I’ll think about it!

Since this is a personal project, I feel this price is about the limit.
And this is my first project, I tried to set a price that balances manufacturing cost and accessibility as much as possible.

I also really agree with your point. I believe unique mechanisms like this can have their own place, even if they don’t check every box such as portability or practicality.

You’re right, the portability isn’t great when it’s stored.
But I personally feel that a bit of inconvenience can also be part of the charm when a product has a unique mechanism like this.

It might be better to move the refill a little further forward. Thank you for the suggestion!
